Today I was doing my homework and the kids were being a bit loud so I
went up to my room to do my homework. I was doing my
homework when I thought that the birds were being kind of quiet so I got up to check on them and to my horror I saw Opollo laying on the bottom of the cage dead. Pistol was
curled up next to Opollo he was so sad.
I started crying Noah ran out and told Mom she came up and comforted me.
I got a empty mach box and put him in it.
We buried him out back in a hole.
My Mom told me we were going to the store for groceries and that we could get another bird at Petco.
So we went and got our groceries at Winco and then went to Petco. They had a huge cage
full of parakeets I took a long look there were yellow ones, blue ones, blue and white ones
and a rare white Albino parakeet. Its just plane white and I knew right then that that was the right one.
The man got it for me and I named it Snowy. Here are some pictures of it.
The reason his chest is like that is because i just gave him a bath.
I want a Guinea Pig:) awesome pics caleb!!!!

ReplyDeleteAww sorry you lost Opollo and glad your mom is so awesome she got you Snowy. Pray for my kids that they could have a nicer mom cause I only let them have one dog and thats it!
ReplyDeleteCaleb, I'm so sorry about Opollo. Your new bird is beautiful. I can't wait to see him/her in person.
ReplyDeleteCaleb, Grammi had a blue parakeet and was devistated when he died. His name was Peter and he was very naughty. He would fly up to the top of the curtains and say "naughty boy Peter" when he wouldn't come down. He insisted on a treaty in his cage before he would go back into his cage. He loved a saucer of tea with milk. If I had a cup of tea he would peck at my ear while sitting on my shoulder until I gave him some of my tea in a saucer. He would look into the mirror in his cage and say "pretty boy Peter."
ReplyDeleteI was sorry to hear about Opollo but happy to hear you have Snowy.
Love ya kiddo, Grammi
